Just got back to Singapore from a week or so in Beijing. Every time I visit Beijing, its just an exercise in frustration trying to access the internet.
Facebook? Blocked.
Google? Sorta blocked.
Blogger? Nope
Youtube? Nope
NY Times? Nope
Bloomberg? Nope
Twitter? Nope...
Even old methods like proxies and VPN are losing its effectiveness as many are blocked now as well. Frustrating to say the least.
Don't take it for granted what you can access in other countries, its hard to appreciate how much worse things can be sometimes.
